Jennifer graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2018 and was called to the bar in Nova Scotia in 2019. She initially worked with a mid-sized full-service law firm, gaining exposure to various areas of practice, but her practice quickly became focused on criminal defence. Since 2021 Jennifer has been practicing criminal law exclusively, and operated her own firm as a sole practitioner for several years before joining MMGD.

 

Jennifer understands that being accused of a crime can be daunting and overwhelming. She is knowledgeable about the court process and committed to helping her clients navigate the complex criminal law system. She tirelessly strives to ensure the highest possible protection for her client’s rights at every stage in the process.

 

• Jennifer is the Vice President of the Nova Scotia Criminal Lawyers’ Association

• She is a member of the Ontario Criminal Lawyers’ Association and the Canadian Bar Association, and

• She sits on the NSBS Criminal Standards Committee and the NSLA Criminal Law Committee

• Jennifer is a regular parent volunteer with both the Halifax Hawks and the Halifax Hurricanes
