Patrick MacEwen | Partner
Pat was called to the Bar in Nova Scotia in 2004. He then joined Newton & Associates as an associate that same year and became managing partner in 2012. His focus is on criminal defence - Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and regulatory offences.
Pat has practiced all facets of Criminal Law and has been involved in a number of high-profile cases in Nova Scotia, including numerous murder trials. He has also presented at a variety of criminal law conferences.
Pat is a lifelong resident of Cole Harbour, NS where he has spent many years coaching minor hockey.
